Original Dart Tubeless Repair Tool

Introduced in 2019, Stan’s Dual Action Repair for Tubeless (DART) Tool was the first plug system uniquely crafted for tubeless bicycle tyres, setting it apart from adapted automotive or motorcycle options. Following extensive refinement, it was re-released in 2025 as the Original DART Tool, now equipped with a stainless steel insertion rod and enhanced plug material, informed by practical experience with the initial design.

At the heart of the DART is its flexible, laser-cut repair material, engineered to conform to irregular puncture shapes caused by sharp debris and trail obstacles. Treated with a reactive solution, the DART bonds instantly with tubeless sealant inside the tire, creating both a chemical and mechanical seal. This ensures a permanent repair for punctures too large for sealant alone to handle.

Compact and practical, the tool comes preloaded with two DARTs, weighs just 15 grams, and easily fits into a jersey pocket or small pack. For added functionality, the base of the moulded plastic body integrates a Presta valve core remover, making it simple to add sealant in the field with Stan’s 60ml or 120ml bottles.
